Event Details

Register for this executive webinar to learn more about vicarious trauma in the workplace.

Vicarious trauma is a huge problem for frontline workers, including aid workers, social workers, emergency responders and therapists, but it isn’t limited to just them. Anyone who must deal with the impacts of violence, disaster, poverty and social inequity is at risk, no matter how removed from the frontline they may be.

This webinar explores the latest understandings of trauma, vicarious trauma and resilience with a view to understanding how you can protect yourself and your workforce from it. We’ll explore what causes it, why some people are more vulnerable than others and how to build resilient responders.

Read more about vicarious trauma in Adam's bi-weekly column in Pro Bono News.

Post Webinar Pack:

Can’t make the date? No worries! All registered participants will be sent a post webinar pack. The packs include the audio and visual recordings, slide deck, and (if purchased) the webinar book. The webinar book includes the session’s transcript with corresponding slides, the live chat stream and presenter notes.
