Yoga On and Off the mat - Freedom in everyday life
Please join us to meet other Victorian yoga teachers in our community, participate in discussion, and earn 3 CPD points. This workshop, presented by Sarasvati Sally Dawson, will centre around learning 3 tools for accessing freedom in everyday life. This event is open to all Yoga teachers, members and non-members alike.
About the Presenter - Sarasvati Sally Dawson
Sarasvati Sally Dawson has been practicing Yoga since 1996 and teaching Yoga and Meditation since she founded Waverley Yoga Studio in her lounge-room in suburban Melbourne in 2002. Before that she trained and worked as a Medical Scientist for 20 years, earned a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and trained as a Yoga teacher with the Australian College of Classical Yoga in 2001. She is a Senior Member of Yoga Australia, and member of Meditation Australia. She teaches in the Yoga teacher training and Meditation teacher training programs of the Australian College of Classical Yoga.
Sarasvati has developed a number of post-graduate workshops for Yoga teachers, and also teaches a variety of workshops for ongoing students of Yoga and Meditation. As well as her ongoing classes, she has taught Yoga and Meditation in various settings, including the corporate sector and on many Yoga retreats with her teacher Swami Shantananda. She is the author of 'Yoga off the mat, freedom in everyday life' and also has a 'Shavasana Deep Relaxation and Meditation' CD/mp3.

What's on the agenda?
Sarasvati will firstly invite you to find ease in your body and mind with a Yoga class. The class will include shavasana and meditation and easeful movement with options to choose what is suitable for your body. After the break she will give a talk that explores finding the freedom that yoga offers you whether you are on the mat or off it and in your everyday life. What is it that stops us from experiencing this ever-present love and bliss and freedom?
