Time: 8.30am - 12.30pm

Dates: 2 August OR 7 August. Please note, due to high numbers identical training will be held twice in NEMA, but please only attend one of the days (either the 2nd or the 7th)

Where:  Level 1, 189 Urquhart Street, Coburg. There is plenty of parking available.  

VCAA are delivering training on the Respectful Relationships component of the Victorian Curriculum.

This half day program is for Respectful Relationships Lead Schools in the North East Melbourne Area and will focus on the Respectful Relationships component of the Victorian Curriculum for planning a teaching and learning program.

The day is aimed at teachers delivering Respectful Relationships in the classroom. It will include:

  • Identifying where schools are at in relation to curriculum planning and identifying the next steps;
  • Supporting development of curriculum plans;
  • Review of current curriculum planning;
  • Creating teaching and learning plans to address the Victorian Curriculum for Health and the Personal and Social Capability for curriculum area and/or lesson plans;
  • Identification of teaching and learning resources; and
  • Planning for assessment.
