Demystify UX - Get informed, trained and certified!
Understanding the fundamentals of User Experience is a critical first step, regardless of your background or objective. The UX-PM Certification is an international User Experience (UX) training program certified by UXalliance, for digital product, marketing and project managers.
There are 3 levels:
Each level builds to expand knowledge of UX and how to integrate and manage it to achieve an awesome user experience in your projects. Each level is offered as a 2-day course, is certified by the UXalliance and is internationally recognized.
UX-PM Level 1: Adopting UX
UX-PM level 1, is for digital product, marketing, and project managers, who want to understand the fundamentals of UX, adopt UX methodologies in Agile and waterfall projects and encourage a user-centered design culture in their organisations.
Objectives of level 1: Adopting UX
Understand key UX concepts and methods
Become a proponent of UX in your organisation
Become familiar with UX tools and methods
The definition of UX, basic principles of UX and ROI, UX tools and methodology at various phases of product development
Integrate and roll out of UX design examining various case studies and illustrations
Immersion and practical application of UX techniques: UX strategy and workshops, qualitative and qualitative research, personas, usability testing
A combination of theory, problem-solving exercises and case studies
Who should attend?
Product owners, interactive marketing managers, project managers and IT professionals who who want to better understand UX and how to integrate UX activities into projects. No prerequisite apart from a curiosity for the subject.
2 days, 9:00-16:30 full-day sessions with a one-hour lunch break.
The certification exam takes place at the end of the second day of training. The exam is comprised of a multiple choice test, followed by a one-on-one interview with the instructor.
Ilana Kaplan will be teaching UX-PM Level 1. She is the founder of Bayfront UX, and has managed UX teams at PwC’s Digital Change, Optimal Experience, and The Hiser Group. She has worked with numerous organisations to help them achieve a user centered design strategy. Ilana is passionate about teaching on subjects related to UX. She has run numerous public and customised UX courses for financial services companies, government organisations, training institutes and a multiple private companies.
Cancellation and copyright
Bayfront UX reserves the right to cancel a course up to 5 business days prior to the scheduled course date if the minimum class size of 6 participants has not been attained. A full refund will be provided.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes it is. Please let us know before hand so that we know who to expect on the day by emailing Ilana email@example.com
Where is the venue?
The venue information will be updated closer to the event. It will be in the Sydney CBD or Surry Hills. We'll notify you if you have already registered.
What if I need to cancel?
If you need to cancel more than 4 weeks prior to the scheduled course date, an 85% refund will be provided. If a cancellation occurs 10 days to 4 weeks prior to the scheduled course date, a 50% refund will be provided. No refunds are provided when cancellation occurs within 10 days of the scheduled course date.
