Gaining a PhD endows you with a wide range of skills of value outside of academia as well as within it. THE STATISTICS SUGGEST THAT LESS THAN 5% OF PhD STUDENTS CONTINUE ON WITH CAREERS IN RESEARCH. We invite you to the Academic and Industry career panel, where we bring you a panel of prestigious PhD-holders who have achieved successful and inspiring careers in the private sector as well as academia. Our guest speakers in the fields of MSL, medical writing, patent attorney, consultancy and academia will present you their experiences that lead to their career pathways. We will then open the forum to a discussion panel where you have the opportunity to ask questions, get advice and engage with the speakers.

A networking session will follow in the Pharmacy Common Room, with free food and drinks provided.
