Learn from Professor Karen Fisher about Photovoice, a visual and participant-led qualitative research method

About this Event

In this webinar, you will learn about Photovoice, an example of a qualitative research method that uses photos and videos taken by participants to stimulate discussion data. It empowers participants to document their experiences and reflect on their choice of images.

Karen Fisher is a Professor at the Social Policy Research Centre in UNSW. Her research interests are the organisation of social services in Australia and China; disability and mental health policy; inclusive research and evaluation; and social policy process. Karen applies mixed methodology and adopts inclusive research methods with people with disability, families, policy officials and services providers
