LinkedIn is a powerful way to promote and build your individual brand, profile your expertise and expand personal and industry connections. As the world’s largest professional online network with more than 630 million members and 30 million companies, LinkedIn provides a professional platform to network and collaborate, promote your business, and stay informed of current trends and industry developments.

Used correctly, LinkedIn can significantly enhance and facilitate opportunities for personal and business growth. But knowing how to best use the features of LinkedIn can be challenging. This workshop will assist you to learn how to best engage with this business platform.

This workshop covers:

  • The importance of LinkedIn

  • How to engage effectively

  • Creating posts that strengthen your business brand

  • Creating a strong LinkedIn profile – customisation strategies

  • Using hashtags and tagging

  • Knowledge of LinkedIn’s algorithms – keep your post in your contacts’ feed for longer

With course content developed in consultation with industry groups and the latest theory with hands-on, practical experiences it a great option to build your professional skills and knowledge.

This workshop is presented by the SBDC, the only agency in the Western Australian Government dedicated to helping small business. In fact, we've been providing practical support to small business owners for more than 30 years.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

This workshop is being held at the ECU Joondalup Campus - Building 34, Room 34.545. The venue is located at 270 Joondalup Drive, Joondalup WA 6027. There is paid, on-site parking.

What's the refund policy?

You can cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the workshop starts. No refunds will be issued after this time.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you don't need to bring your printed ticket.
