Description
Learning analytics can give teaching staff detailed insight into how learners are engaging with the subject content and learning activities presented to them.
Participants in this workshop will be given a detailed understanding of how they can use learning analytics to improve their teaching and in turn, provide a more engaging learning experience for their students.
Relying on evidence based research, participants attending this workshop will be provided with an overview of the latest research in learning analytics, particularly as it relates to the field of higher education. Further, participants will be given an opportunity to review and evaluate data and to come up with suggestions for improvements using example cases that will be provided throughout the workshop.
