Description

This half-day workshop will provide an opportunity for allied health professionals to develop skills in using Google Calendar as a memory-rehabilitation approach, based on best-practice evidence.

Facilitated by Susan Petrie, Senior Occupational Therapist and Kate Phillips, Practice Principal at Independent Rehabilitation Services.

This workshop is aimed at allied health professionals who work in neuro-rehabilitation and provide or wish to provide memory rehabilitation training with clients.

Content to be covered:

  • Use of Electronic Memory Aids after brain injury
  • Intervention and protocol used to improve functional memory including Google Calendar
  • Results from the recent Google Calendar research study completed in Melbourne
  • Provide resources and discussion outcome measures used in the Google Calendar research study.
