Digital technologies promise to support positive ageing – but what are they, and how might we use them?

About this event

Digital technologies promise to support positive ageing – but what are they, and how might we use them? This session puts new digital developments in the context of other supports to live our lives well as we age. Libby Callaway is a registered occupational therapist and Associate Professor at Monash University, who works as the Independent Living stream lead across the Rehabilitation, Ageing and Independent Living (RAIL) Research Centre and Occupational Therapy Departments in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences. Libby leads a national collaborative research program focused on housing, technology, and workforce design, which is funded by State and Federal government.

Libby will discuss....

• What are digital technologies?

• What’s out there to help us live healthier lives?

• What are my next steps?
