Event description

Description

Model based system engineering (MBSE) is a powerful technique that can be effectively applied to the design of new generation military technology. This public presentation demonstrates an approach to developing integrated capability systems architectures that efffectively capture the outputs of operational analysis, requirements development, functional analysis, and design and synthesis. Various short demonstrations show how such techniques can develop a rich and traceable design architecture.

The key insight from the presentation is how the systems engineering method can now be more effectively undertaken using advanced model based systems engineering techniques. You will discover that this approach is far superior when compared to current, conventional paper-based means.

MBSE design methods and techniques can be equally applied to other military technology domains. This model based system engineering method has been successfully used in the design of armoured vehicles, fire fighting vehicles, a soldier combat system and military communications systems.

A contintal breakfast will be served between 8-8.30 am.

We look forward to welcoming you at the presentation.
