Event description

Learn how objects really move!

In this fun holiday science workshop we'll use rockets, bike wheels, science toys and weird contraptions as we look in depth at how push and pull forces act to move objects. You'll discover how friction works as well as explore rotational forces and find out what inertia is all about. Plus, you'll make your own rubber band racer to keep...Newton would be happy here!

Please bring a snack, a drink and a hat with you on the day and also please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty!

This program can be paired with the morning program to make a full day of workshops! Lunch break will be from 12pm-1pm and fully supervised by Fizzics Education.

Ages: 6+ years.

Learning Centre

My child is under 6 years old, can they attend with their older sibling?

No unfortunately. The minimum age of this program is set to ensure that children attending have the attention span to successfully keep up with the pace of the program. Younger children tend to fall behind and can end up frustrated which can have an impact on the rest of the class.

Where can I find any updated information?
