Event description

Description

Applying for US Federal Funding involves a fair degree of work. As with the ARC and NHMRC, the US relies on centralised portals which can seem very bureaucratic and complex. There are many forms that need to be completed, attachments that need to be prepared – with correct formatting! – and approvals that need to be gained.

However, it is absolutely worth it! Not only can the awards be lucrative – take, for example, the SWARM project, which may see up to $19 million worth of IARPA-funding being administered by the University of Melbourne – they are also good for your reputation and professional career.

This workshop will explore the diverse US Funding opportunities available to researchers at the University of Melbourne.

Snacks will be provided during this event.
