Description
Are you nervous to try yoga? Are you worried you're not flexible enough to do yoga? Then this 6 weeks beginners course is for you.
Over 6 weeks you will learn everything you need to know about the foundations of yoga.
At the end of this course you will:
- confidently know what the poses are
- how to get in and out of poses safely and gracefully
- know suitable modifications for you and your body
- you will know your body's limits
- confidently be able to continue a suitable yoga practice for you
- know how to practice both yoga and restorative yoga classes.
Starts Thursday 24 January 2019 5.45pm - 7pm and runs for 6 weeks ending Thursday 28 February 2019.
What you get:
- learn poses, breathing exercises and meditations to calm your mind and body
- improve and enhance your body's ability to repair and heal
- receive one on one attention in the class
- build core, upper body and leg strength
- develop flexbility and unravel those sticky spots that have been getting tighter and tighter for the last few years
Note: places strictly limited. Maximum 10 places in this course. This is so we can work with you intimately and help you get the most out of this experience. For 5 weeks will have the benefit of an hour and a bit carved out for you to work on you. Wonderful!

Over this course you will learn the foundations to allow you to practice any form of yoga in the best way for you and your body. At the end of the course you will feel confident about walking into any yoga class going forward. You will also do an introduction into restorative and yin yoga which is a deeply relaxing and restorative type of yoga.

What do I bring?
We have all the yoga mats and props you will need. Simply come wearing comfortable clothes you can move around in easily and bring some water with you.
