Event description

Description

Can we improve the economy with two wheels?

Cycling increases retail activity, property values, reduces chronic disease and public health spending, noise and crime. It keeps us happy, strong and young while making our city and regional urban centres beautiful and liveable.

Join Australian Institute of Urban Studies of SA on Wednesday 22 February from 5.30pm - 7.00pm to discuss the idea of bikes improving our urban and economic environment.

We are pleased to host special guests Sophia MacRae, Sam Taylor, Daniels Langeberg with our Board member, Reb Rowe, for a conversation of how bikes can help the economy and "be good for business" supporting community connectivity and health.

Sophia MacRae - Elected Member, recent graduate of Master of Planning & Master of Sustainability, Committee Member of MainstreetSA

Sam Taylor -
Strategy Consultant, Gläshaus and Co-founder, Turner&Taylor

Daniels Langeberg -
Founder of EcoCaddy, Co-founder of Mâché and Urban Designer

Reb Rowe -
