UPCYCLING WORKSHOP WITH LAKSHMI BEE
Saturday 2 July, 10am - 12pm
Western Sydney fashion and lifestyle brand Lakshmi Bee is leading the way in sustainable practice and upcycling. Mother and daughter duo, Susan and Lakshmi Gowda, join FCMG on Saturday 2 July for an exclusive workshop sharing their skills in fashion design, sewing and artmaking techniques.
Over two hours they will assist you in your own upcycling project, sharing expert tips and tricks.
Participants are required to bring along one or more items to upcycle or re-decorate. These items can be (not limited to): shoes, shirts, jackets, trousers, denim/jeans, bags, hats and cushion covers.
This program is part of the Who Are You Wearing? exhibition project.
