Animated fantasy to animatronic reality - with Philip Millar
Friday 17 January, 6-9pm
Join puppet designer Philip Millar as he discusses bringing fantasy creatures to life using puppetry, animatronics and complex hydraulics. Learn about the nature of movement design for the giant dragons by Creature Technology Co. from the How to Train Your Dragon – Live Spectacular, and discover the unique challenges of these productions. Afterwards, visit DreamWorks Animation: The Exhibition and take off on a Dragon Flight, or challenge your friends to a game in the inflatable lounge.
Then get ready to witness something crazy with a free screening of How to Train Your Dragon (2010)*, the story of an unlikely friendship that turns an entire community upside-down.
