About the Degrees

The Graduate Certificate in Child Development gives professionals from non-psychology backgrounds specialised skills to apply psychological principles to their work with children. If you work in education, nursing, juvenile justice, social work or any other field involving young people, this program will give you an important set of psychological skills to accelerate your career.

The Graduate Diploma in Psychology provides students who have already been awarded a bachelor's degree with the opportunity to gain an accredited psychology sequence (the equivalent of an undergraduate psychology degree for accreditation purposes) in less than two years part-time. You'll develop skills in analysis and research methods and gain an integrated and comprehensive education in the main discipline areas, including developmental, social, cognitive, biological, physiological and abnormal psychology.
