Development practitioners and researchers in Myanmar are invited to attend and participate in the UNSW-Myanmar Development & Research Workshop at Melia Hotel on the 5th of February.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with Dr Sarah Cook, Director of the Institute for Global Development, and academics from a range of disciplines. The workshop will provide an platform for discussion of current opportunities and challenges in Myanmar.

UNSW academics are visiting Myanmar as part of The Myanmar-UNSW Development and Research Dialogue. The purpose is to foster collaborations between UNSW academics and government, civil society, academic institutions and international partners. We aim to create new and build upon existing partnerships that foster mutual learning and identify opportunities for joint research, and generate evidence that supports equitable and sustainable development in Myanmar.
