Welcome to UNSW Engineering!

We look forward to meeting you at our official welcome as part of UNSW O-Week for Term 1, 2022.

Meet your Dean and learn how to succeed in your studies. This event will be a great opportunity for you to learn more about your faculty and have the chance to ask any questions you may have.

Meet fellow female-identifying engineering students and reps from our student societies, and hear about some of the fantastic programs you can get involved in. You can also explore the Willis Makerspace and make new friends while you're at it!

Engineering Yellow Shirts Tour

Important information:

Given the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, UNSW Sydney will be delivering a hybrid O-Week for students commencing in Term 1, 2022 with both on campus and virtual events.

Be sure to take advantage of all the events and opportunities on offer to familiarise yourself with your faculty, meet your peers and learn about student life at UNSW Sydney.

Masks: Please wear a mask in all indoor settings as required by the NSW State Government. We encourage you to wear higher-quality masks: surgical masks offer superior protection to cloth masks, and N95 masks offer superior protection to surgical masks if correctly fitted. 

Feeling unwell? Do not come to campus if you have any symptoms, are unwell or you are considered a close contact of a COVID-19 positive case. If after attending UNSW O-Week you are required to be tested for COVID-19, please alert us by completing the COVID-19 case notification form.

Health and safety protocol: 

  • Check-in to buildings/spaces using both your swipe card and QR codes where available; 
  • Maintain physical distancing and density limits of not more than 1 person per 2sqm indoors; 
  • Wash or sanitise your hands regularly; 
  • Keep a safe distance from others and avoid physical contact.
