Description


This event will see the local community guided around the Kaurna Park Wetlands by experts in natural sciences and indigenous flora. Participants will undertake citizen science activities including conducting a mini bioscan of the area.

The project will also include a tree planting initiative informed by Aboriginal experts and the Landscape Systems area of City Infrastructure department of the City of Salisbury. Participants can help plant trees and shrubbery whilst also gaining guidance in native flora that can also be applied at home or in their community. A light morning tea will also be provided.
