Unlocking Abilities: Developing touch screen, switch and eye gaze skills for learning and beyond

The Independent Living Centre of WA has developed a new resource to assist therapists and educators in supporting students with multiple disabilities to develop their access skills (touch screen, switch and eye gaze) to become more active learners. This workshop will focus on assessment, development of access skills, practical activity ideas, equipment options and case studies. Afternoon tea will be provided.
- Develop knowledge of resources available to support students to develop access skills
- Develop an understanding of best practice in assisting children to develop access skills
