Unlocking Abilities: Developing touch screen, switch and eye gaze skills for learning and beyond

The Independent Living Centre of WA has developed a new resource to assist therapists and educators in supporting students with multiple disabilities to develop their access skills (touch screen, switch and eye gaze) to become more active learners in the classroom. This videoconference will explain how to use the resource to assist your practice and discuss the principles underlying development of access skills.
- Develop knowledge of resources available to support students to develop access skills
- Develop an understanding of best practice in assisting children to develop access skills
Target audience: Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Teachers, Education Assistants
**PLEASE NOTE: This session is aimed at allied health professionals within WA Country Health Services (WACHS), who have access to the WACHS videoconferencing network. Dial in details will be sent one week prior via email to the person who has registered for each site. Feel free to invite multiple attendees to your site - YOU ONLY NEED TO REGISTER ONCE PER SITE **
