Course Details:

-Special USQ course - special rates!
-Nationally Accredited First Aid and CPR Training delivered by highly skilled facilitators
-USQ, Toowoomba Campus (Training Room to be confirmed and will be emailed to you once ticket is purchased)
-9.00am - 5pm (CPR concluding at 12.00noon)
-Please note that First Aid Training INCLUDES CPR Training
-Please note that all participants must have a Unique Student Identifier. Please create one here and bring it with you to your scheduled training session: https://www.usi.gov.au/
-Please note that if you are enrolling in to First Aid Training (including CPR Training), you are required to complete an online pre-course module. This will be emailed directly to you once your ticket it purchased. Further details below.

What to Bring

-USI number (visit: http://www.usi.gov.au)
-The identification used to create USI number
-A pen
-Appropriate clothing to perform CPR on the floor, including recovery position.
-Food and water
-Your pre-course work completed (First Aiders only)

Pre-Course Work:

As part of the HLTAID003 Provide First Aid Course (which includes CPR Training), pre-course online modules are required to be completed prior to your attendance at your scheduled training session. This will be emailed directly to you, from AHST, once your enrolment has been processed. If you have any queries in this regard, please contact AHST on 1300 655 135 or admin@ahst.com.au.

*There is no pre-course work requirement for CPR Training.

Assessment Requirements:

As part of the practical assessment requirements for CPR and First Aid (as set out by the Australian Government Industry Skills Council Health Training Package), each participant must perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) (5 cycles of both compressions and ventilations) on a manikin placed on the floor in order to achieve their statement of attainment. If you require any further information in this regard, please contact AHST.


If you have any learning requirements involving language, literacy and numeracy, or any special physical requirements early contact should be made to ascertain the most appropriate avenue of assistance so competency can be achieved. You will be responsible for costs associated with student support. AHST requests that you advise of any support requirements prior to the commencement of your course.
