Event description

Description

Following the success of last year’s UniSA Clinical Exercise Physiology Conference we are planning our next annual end of year Conference to be held on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th December 2017 at our City West campus.

This year’s conference is set across two days and will include a variety of engaging presentations, workshops and activities with key themes including: disability, aged care and community health, movement analysis and mental health.

We are very excited and privileged to have Dr Simon Rosenbaum as keynote speaker providing a presentation on mental health and exercise. Dr Simon Rosenbaum is an NHMRC Early Career Fellow and Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) in the School of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine at the University of New South Wales. He is also a National Director of Exercise and Sports Science Australia. Dr Rosenbaum’s research focusses on the role of exercise in the prevention and management of various mental health disorders with specific focus on post-traumatic stress disorder.

This event brings together both UniSA CEP students and Industry, aiming to build-upon existing partnerships, providing a unique opportunity for networking across the AEP profession, through the provision of engagement, collaboration and discussion of current and exciting areas of growth within the Industry.
