If you've ever wanted to improve your general fitness, swimming skills, endurance, strength and agility, this sport can take you there!
You'll never know what you're capable of until you come and give it a try. This 3 week beginners course will introduce basic safety guidelines and rules of the sport and allow players to develop at their own pace over the 3-session course. Underwater rugby is an action-packed, 3D, weightless sport played with a water-filled ball, mask and snorkel in a swimming pool. You've got to hold your breath, dive down and tackle oppponents to score a goal in the basket at the bottom of the pool.
Underwater rugby was invented by German divers looking for a way to keep fit during winter, but has now taken over the world with teams in 7 cities across Australia.
