Understanding Your Baby Group – Birth to 3 months
Event Information
About this Event
The early stages of your baby’s life can be challenging. That’s why the Maternal and Child Health (MACH) nursing service invites parents and carers of babies (from birth to three (3) months) within the ACT to an online information session about parenting in the first three months.
Our MACH nurses will facilitate the information session which will cover topics such as:
• infant behaviour and development
• infant cue-based care- to support feeding, play, sleep and settling
• practical parenting tips
• self-care
The information session is a great opportunity for you to gain valuable parenting information and practical advice.
The Early Pregnancy and Parenting Support Line, call 5124 1775, is also available if you need support for early pregnancy, maternal and child health, breastfeeding, and emotional wellbeing concerns.
Leave a voice message including your name, best contact number and reason for the call. A health professional will return your call
Our services are free to Medicare and Asylum Seeker card holders. When booking please use the name stated on your Medicare card.
