Event description

Description

This evening program explores the dynamics of workplace culture and how development and improvements can be implemented. As the traditional hierarchical business models are disappearing, they are being replaced in the leading-edge companies with ‘flatter’, more adaptive structures.

The critical need to harness and fully utilise the people assets within your business, to ensure future retention rates and the productive use of your workforce, is fast becoming the most important focus in workplaces moving forward. The work on your company culture is now becoming the most important work to do.

'Culture tells employees what to do when the boss isn’t in the room; it empowers people to go the extra mile with a customer; it influences each employee’s whole life perspective and it inspires people to want to come to work and do their best.’

Transformation of a business culture is not something you can put on ‘the list’ and get done quickly; the change you want has to be well targeted and work towards something that is an authentic reflection of your company’s ‘best self’, not an idea constructed in a boardroom to be handed down.

Susie Walker specialises in sustainable cultural development and people empowerment. She provides a suite of specific programs, tailored to your organisational needs, designed to bring genuine capability to your leaders, proactive teamwork and collaborative relationships to your workplace and a vibrant and transparent company culture into your business.

‘Strategic planning is critical to success but ultimately, you entrust your decisions and the implementation of them, to the people in your business; they are the ones who deliver. Their innate capability to deliver effectively, will depend on their emotional maturity and intellectual fitness; their levels of individual sophistication.’

This evening program is an introduction to workplace culture. It is designed to inform and inspire you about how to make sustainable change to the way you operate as a business.

What others say:

'Susie is a vibrant and challenging trainer. Her experience is extensive, based on a range of company types and styles, yet the training and principles work in each situation. Not only is she able to communicate effectively with all levels of the company – but she is able to teach and train at these different levels. She is flexible, but with an honesty, transparency and integrity that you know proves her own training.' Dr. J.S. Director

'Susie’s commitment to long-term sustainable results, achieves very effective outcomes. She is an experienced professional, able to quickly build rapport with staff at all levels, and to win their trust and confidence. I would highly recommend her to organisations where there is a serious commitment to achieving culture change as a basis for improved performance and where there is a need for the development of high quality interpersonal workplace relationships.' DR. G.E. Director
