Event description

Description

Interaction is proud to be hosting ‘Understanding Prader-Willi Syndrome’ - an opportunity to bring together members of the PWS community in Australia. These Training and Seminar events are designed to further educate and expand on the knowledge and skillset of attendees, with the most up to date and comprehensive information.

The number of spaces available is limited due to the structure and intensity of the training. Individuals will be required to attend from 9th-13th October 2017, with six one on one Skype follow-ups (monthly) with Dr. Hödebeck-Stuntebeck and Dr. Soyer, followed by another five days training attendance from 19th-23rd March 2018. All training days are 9am-5pm.

Your commitment to the training event will also include admission to one Seminar (Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne). The training has been widely and successfully implemented across Europe and other parts of the world, with Interaction to be the first organisation to bring this opportunity to the Australian PWS community.

Who Should Attend the Training?

Professional Carers associated or with special interest in PWS, such as: GP’s, Specialists, Psychologists,
Dieticians, Nurses, staff employed by disability service providers, academics and researchers, health policy professionals, medical students etc.

Seminar Events are open to ALL people associated with PWS. These are one day (3 hour events) which will occur in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. If you wish to register for a Seminar only event, click the applicable links below:
