Understanding dementia session by Dementia Australia

About this Event

This session provides an introduction to dementia including an overview of different types of dementia, diagnosis, planning ahead and how to support someone living with dementia.

You will gain knowledge in:                   

• types of dementia, signs and symptoms

• the experience of living with dementia

• available services and where to access support

Suitable for: People living with dementia, their family carers, family members and people who want to learn more about dementia. This program is not suitable for professionals employed in the health or aged care sectors. 


How do I access the online program?

Within the week prior to the event, the link to Zoom will be emailed to the email address that you have provided in your registration. There is no need to download any software in order to participate in this online workshop, therefore you will only need to click on the link to join the session at start time.
