Do you want to feel more connected to your community? Do you want to learn more about living in Australia?

Auspire - The Australia Day Council WA, is pleased to provide this opportunity to attend a Civics and Citizenship masterclass, supported by the Office of Multicultural Interests and presented in partnership with the Constitution Centre and the Electoral Education office. The session will cover:

  • The Australian Constitution
  • How the Australian parliamentary system works
  • Australia’s main political parties
  • How to vote
  • Information about the benefits of community participation
  • Information about various programs that recognise positive community contribution

This masterclass may also be beneficial to those who are wanting to attain Australian Citizenship.

Special guest speakers Barry and Lorraine Young will share their own story of community leadership and how you too can get involved and participate in your own community.
