Understanding Children’s Behaviour including Sibling Rivalry
Wed. 26 April 2017, 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm AEST
Do you sometimes feel like you just don't know what to do next in your parenting? Do you wonder why your children behave the way they do and what to do about it? This presentation provides an overview of some of the reasons why children behave the way they do and gives some practical strategies for parents to support their children and guide their behaviours in appropriate ways. Parents are able to raise questions at the presentation and this provides an opportunity for specific issues to be addressed. It focuses upon children’s behaviour from birth to about 10 years of age.
Presented by Melinda Van Der Reest who is a consultant with the Early life Foundation. She is a passionate children's advocate with more than 25 years of experience working with young children and their families in Community and Independent settings.
