Join us for this free event to learn about Asperger's Syndrome and Autism. Suitable for people with ASD, parents and carers, professionals, disability support workers, teachers and assistants.

Richard Eisenmajer is a Clinical Psychologist and founder and Director of The ASD Clinic. He has worked in a variety of positions, both within government and hospital settings, with the last 20 years in private practice specialising in Autism Spectrum Disorders. Richard establised The ASD Clinic in 2009. He specialises in the assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorders and the provision of counselling and practical behavioural interventions for clients of all ages, their families, as well as education services and professional organisations.

The session will cover the following areas:

- Brief introduction to Autism Spectrum Disorder

- The common difficulties that people with ASD face in the community, at school and at home

- Insights into what it would be like to have ASD

- Understanding of behaviour

- Behavioural strategies to help with challenging behaviour

- Tips on making environments more "ASD friendly"
