Presented by Julie King, Project Lead, Digital Technologies in focus, ACARA

This one-day workshop is designed for school leaders, teachers and teacher aides to explore the underpinning concepts of the Australian Curriculum: Digital Technologies. You will develop teaching strategies for project management and develop or refine a unit of work for Digital Technologies.

This workshop will assist you to:

  • understand the purpose and intent of the Digital Technologies curriculum
  • understand the key concepts of the Digital Technologies curriculum
  • apply the thinking skills embedded in Digital Technologies and establish links to the general capabilities
  • understand, apply and develop teaching strategies for addressing project management
  • apply this knowledge to develop a unit of work and share with colleagues.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided.

Please bring along a charged laptop and or tablet, and your current planning for Technologies.

Suitable for primary and secondary teachers.
