Concurrent Sessions 1

Gifted students with learning and attention differences have paradoxical needs that must be met. In this workshop, educators will learn how to use strategies and resources to accommodate 2e students.

Who are 2e students and what do they need? Topics included will explore the challenging world of 2e students and what happens when advances abilities collide and co-exist with learning challenges. Through case studies and interactive experiences, we will highlight key factors and strategies for meting their complex needs both at home and in school.

Concurrent Session 2

Option 1:
Integrating Creative & Critical Thinking into the Classroom

To prepare our students to be the leaders of tomorrow, curriculum and instruction needs to provide them with critical and creative skills. This workshop will introduce specific strategies to encourage critical and creative thinking.
