Twelve25 Salisbury Youth Enterprise Centre is holding a Volunteer Group Information session. Want to learn more about what we do and the volunteering options before you make a commitment? Then come along to this information session.

When: Monday 18 June 2018

Time: 1pm – 3pm

Where: 17-19 Wiltshire Street, Salisbury SA 5108 (Twelve25 Youth Centre)

Twelve25 Salisbury Youth Enterprise Centre is looking for dedicated volunteers who are available one day a week from 8.30am – 5pm for an Administration/ Centre Management volunteer role.


Who can come?

There is no age limit. If you are looking for work like experience or passionate to give back to the community, you can come along.

During this session we will cover the following topics;

  • What does Twelve25 do? A bit of history and our role in the community
  • Young people & duty of care
  • Volunteer roles and responsibilities
  • Process of becoming a volunteer & what comes after you’ve registered
  • Questions & Answers
  • Completing paperwork

Requirements-:

  • Be able to commit one day a week from 8.30am – 5pm for minimum of 6 months
  • To provide or undergo a DCSI Child and Vulnerable Persons Clearance.
  • Have an interested in administration, event management, community services or youth work etc.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, cooperative, respectful, use initiative, be a good communicator, accept direction and feedback and be a productive team member
  • Basic Skills to undertake tasks i.e. Literacy and numeracy, cash handling, computer and typing skills, research and time management.

Must bring on the day-:

  • Have completed a Child Related & Vulnerable Persons DCSI Clearance prior to starting OR
    • We can assist with obtain a DCSI Clearance
    • Must bring 100 points of I.D if you do not have a DCSI Clearance to complete the paperwork
  • Current Resume
  • Relevant certificates (First Aid / Child Safe)
