About this event
Tweed Shire Council is hosting a Citizenship Ceremony to welcome new Australians on their final step to becoming citizens.
Citizenship ceremonies are coordinated by the Mayor’s office in conjunction with the Department of Home Affairs.
We invite you to make your pledge on Australia Day.
Date: Wednesday 26 January 2022
Time: 8:30am – Registration and verification of identification (closes 8.55am)
9 am – Australia Day Awards and Citizenship Ceremony
11:00am – Conclusion
Location: Murwillumbah Auditorium, 10-14 Tumbulgum Road, Murwillumbah NSW 2484.
As numbers are capped, New Citizens may invite three guests each to join them. Please register yourself and your guests. You may place extra guest names on a waitlist should spaces become available. Unlisted patrons will be denied entry.
