• What is happening to a woman’s body physically, emotionally and psychologically
• How to labour at home
• When to call the midwife
• Role of the support person

How to Join KEMH ONLINE Parent Education Classes

The Family Birth Centre ONLINE classes use the software application Avaya Workplace.

Avaya Workplace allows you to attend the class and interact with the midwives on your smartphone/tablet/laptop from home.

Before you use Avaya for the first time:

Please test Avaya to check that it has been downloaded correctly by calling Telehealth between 7:30am and 4:00pm Monday – Friday - at least 24 hrs before your first class. Telephone: 6457 7991

Please note you only need to do this before your first session and then once it is working you do not need to do this again

How do I join a class using my computer/laptop?

1. Visit: https://telehealth.health.wa.gov.au/portal/tenants/wahealth/

2. Enter your name

3. Enter the Meeting ID: 6863

4. Click Join with Browser

How do I join a class using my smartphone/tablet?

1. Download the Avaya Workplace app from your APP STORE

2. Enter your name

3. Enter the meeting address:
