April 2nd Scottish Prince's famous Tuesday night comedy is here and we have an absolutely killer show coming your way. Australian stand up and TV legend Dave Eastgate is here to headline a showcase of amazing comedic talent and is one of the most side-splitting comedians touring today. Don't miss a chance to see this absolute crusher in action doing what he does best. Joining him to host the show is Toowoomba's finest comedy export Nick Carr to warm us up and introduce us to our hilarious support acts for the evening. We can't wait to kick this one off.

In 2015, Dave starred alongside his comedy idols, Glenn Robbins, Magda Szubanski, Gina Riley & Jane Turner in the Comedy Channel’s flagship, sketch comedy series, Open Slather. The series ran for 20 episodes and featured Dave in sketches alongside UFC Champ Ronda Rousey & Grammy Award Winner, Sting. Other credits include the multi-award winning ABC comedy series, A Moody Xmas & it’s sequel, The Moody’s, as well as Maximum Choppage, Soul Mates, Ronny Chieng: International Student and Channel 9’s smash hit comedy Here Come The Habibs. Stand-up comedy remains Dave's staple as he tours extensively around Australia and internationally in NZ, UK, US, Singapore and even in the Middle East for the Australian Defence Force. In 2012 Dave shared the stage with Academy Award Winner Robin Williams during his Australian tour and considers it a career highlight.

Other highlights include playing sold out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2011 & 2012 & performing at the UK's biggest heavy metal festival Download in 2012. In addition to this Dave has supported touring international comics such as Arj Barker, Rich Fulcher, Jim Jefferies, Jeff Ross and Ross Noble. Dave has appeared as a stand-up comedian on Channel 9’s Mornings, SBS’s The Full Brazilian, Channel 10’s Thursday Night Live and the Comedy Channel’s Stand Up Australia and Just For Laughs at The Sydney Opera House. In 2016 he was featured on the ABC's Comedy Next Gen - we're thrilled to have him with us.

A regular guest on ABC radio and ‘The Little Dum Dum Club’ podcast, test-subject on the ‘Carr Crash’ podcast: Nick Carr (pictured here pouring a beer into a shoe), is a comedic wildcard in the absolute best sense of the word. A performer that absolutely has to be seen to be believed - Carr is intensely likeable and takes the stage without a trepidatious bone in his body. He is completely willing to do whatever it takes to make an audience laugh, even if it does often times leave him with egg on his face. However, it’s not all silly-buggers and tomfoolery when it comes to Nick Carr. He is a legitimate force to be reckoned with, garnering high praise from some of the biggest names in Australian comedy.
