Did you know that every 2 hours someone will lose their life to blood cancers?
As part of the Leukaemia Foundation's Get Your Blood Pumping for Blood Cancer program I have set myself the challenge of running a Trivia night and in May 2017 I will be climbing Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, to raise funds and awareness for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Pease get together a group of friends/family/colleagues for a fun night of trivia. I promise a night full of laughs, healthy competition and prizes. All you need to do is get together a group of friends!
There will be 10 people to a table. Tickets are $25 each or $250 per table. All money raised will go directly to the Leukaemia Foundation. Doors open at 7.30pm and will be closed at 7.57pm, for an 8pm start. We will be on a tight timeframe to finish at 10pm so please ensure you are nice and early so that you don’t miss any of the fun!
All tickets must be purchased online by Sunday, 6 November.
To keep your costs down it is BYO drinks (alcohol allowed) and snacks. There is a Woolworths across the road if you need anything prior to the night starting. There is a lot of parking available nearby. Tram 57 and Newmarket Station is a 3 minute walk away.
If you are unable to make this event but still would like to donate to the Leukaemia Foundation please follow this link http://my.leukaemiafoundation.org.au/sophieporrakili. All money raised will go directly to the Leukaemia Foundation to provide practical and emotional support to people facing the challenge of blood cancer, as well as investing in vital research to find better treatments and cures. Across Australia, 60,000 people are going through this right now.
All donations regardless of how little or big helps a great deal!
Please don't hesitate to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
