Parkour was developed in France, primarily by Raymond Belle. Parkour includes running, climbing, swingingvaulting, jumping, rolling, flipping and other movements as deemed most suitable for the situation.

Parkour involves seeing one's environment in a new way and imagining the potential for navigating it by moving around, across, through, over and under its features

I’ve been involved in physical movement my entire life but began proper training at the age of 11, spending 3 years studying Rhee Tae Kwon Do, achieving 1st Dan Black Belt at age 15, then eventually venturing into other martial arts including Karate, Kung Fu, Capoeira and Boxing.

My Parkour and Freerunning is mostly self-taught, I continue to train and teach across Sydney.

In 2004 I founded the Parkour / Stunt group Team 9Lives, based out of Fairfield NSW, we continue to teach and perform with a steady network of students. I officially began stunt training at Stunt Gym with Stunt Coordinator Tony Lynch in June 2014 and continue to train and teach there.
My involvement with filmmaking began in 2004 after shooting Parkour videos with the high school camcorder. If I’m not training I like to spend most of my time writing, directing, shooting or editing my own work, much of which is inspired by physical movement and the stories from my neighbourhood and current world situations. At the moment I’m writing my first feature film.

Popping and Locking originated during the funk era on the West Coast, California.
Popping is the contracting and releasing of different muscle groups to create a dynamic 'pop'

movement. Popping is known for it's strong, sharp & robotic like movement contrasting with flowing and loose movement.

I started learning Popping, the style I had seen in the movies, Beat Street and Breakdance. I learnt from Nate Mendelsohn aka 'Nacho Pop' who gave me many foundations I have today, as well as many great dancers from Japan who had travelled to Sydney, who I learnt from to get my foundations stronger. Around 2005 – 06, Suga Pop from the world famous Electric Boogaloo's had come to teach, I have been a student of his ever since taking as many workshops with him as I can when he tours Australia. Big inspirations have also been learning from Mr. Wiggles and Popin Pete who are also part of Electric Boogaloos.

Over the years I have taken workshops with some of the best dancers in the world such as Brian Green, Jr Boogaloo, Bionic, Kid Boogie, Frantick, Crazy kyo, Hozin, Aka kin, Pop kin, Storm, Poppin Hood, Greg Campbellock Jr, Gucchon, Buddha Stretch, Viho, Salah, Pop Bong, Lil steph and many more.

This masterclass is a MUST for all dancers! Students will gain a greater understanding and develop control of their bodies. Isolations is the ability to isolate one part of your body [ which moves ] while the rest of your body remains completely still. Isolation is an improvised dancing technique, which can be performed with various body parts, starting from your head to your legs.

I started dancing 19 years ago & was introduced to isolations in the last 10 years of my dancing career.Isolation routines is a big part of a Justice Crew Show. We love the sudden pauses & individual body part movements that challenge your mind in a unique way. By doing isolation you can master this art in a few days to month’s time depending upon your dedication and willingness to learn.
