The NSW EPA Bin Trim program helps small businesses save big by maximising recycling and minimising landfill.
About this event
Roughly 70% of the things in a business’s general waste bin can be reused or recycled. From cardboard, paper and plastic through to food waste – so much of this ends up in the general waste bin, when it could be avoided, reused or recycled.
Join us for an informative online session to learn about the NSW EPA Bin Trim program, which provides businesses with free help and support to maximise recycling and minimise waste to landfill.
The Bin Trim program provides free waste assessments and rebates to small and medium-sized businesses to help with the costs of purchasing and installing small-scale recycling equipment. Your business may also be eligible for a rebate of between $1,000 and $50,000 to help with the purchase price of recycling equipment.
Speakers:
- Claire Mahendradatta from MRA Consulting will provide an overview of the Bin Trim program, and share case studies.
- Sondra Beram from Bru Coffee will share her experience with the Bin Trim program.
The event will be delivered using Zoom and recorded.
