"Trees" An Exhibition at ANCA

Join other carers for this unique experience to view Trees the exhibition at the ANCA Gallery.

Walk around the exhibition with a tour guide explaining the ideas and concepts each artist employed when creating their works. Enjoy some light afternoon tea, conversation with like minded carers and the opportunity to talk to one of the artists.

"Trees reflects six artist's experience of seeing, being with and listening to trees both above and below the earth's surface using textiles, paint, drawing, sound and video.

Living in Canberra and its environs, designed at the heart of the Garden City movement, it is difficult to avoid contact with trees. They are in our gardens, our streets and define our landscapes. It's not just what we see and hear of trees in our everyday lives that interests this group of artists..."
