Event description
An innovative and creative program designed especially for seniors to explore in a fun and caring environment the joy of music & movement.

About this Event

The Tree of Life is a community wellbeing program presented by Sounds Across Oceans. The 8 week workshop series is designed to support the creative, emotional and social wellbeing of a diverse cross-section of our seniors community. The workshop program will combine exercises in meditation, music-making and movement facilitated by a collective of highly skilled and experienced teaching artists.

Musicians are encouraged to bring their instrument/s, whether you are a beginner or more advanced there is a place for you at Tree of Life. You will be guided to jam, improvise and create sound in a fun, experimental and liberating way.

Dancers bring your love of movement and dance as you work with one of Brisbane's finest dancers to find your own rhythm and flow. No experience necessary just a willingness to collaborate, learn and have fun.
