HOW TO USE ONLINE ACCOUNTING SYSTEMS
The results of the survey we conducted at the first Treasurers Network meeting identified online accounting as the highest need for clubs.
Natasha Sampson-Ly from Tashly Consulting will be demonstrating/instructing your on the following:
- Providing you an overview of the most common online systems
- Discussing what are the Not for profit pricing options available to you
- What is the difference between a bookkeeper/treasurer/accountant
- We will provide you with a check-list of what you need to do prior to converting/setting your system.
- Provide you a demonstration on how to navigate of the systems
- Demonstrate how to raise an invoice / purchase order / bill and we will discuss the positives of using tracking options e.g. can be used to identify different areas of your operations e.g. Bar/Kitchen/Junior/Senior/Committee…. So you can produce a P&L for each area.
- Demonstrate the reconciliation process (include bank feeds)
- Demonstrate the budget creation features
- Demonstrate a management report and P&L by tracking area
- Demonstrate some apps such as Stripe payments, Receipt Bank, etc…
- We will touch on BAS reporting – time allowing
- We will show you how to get demo trial so you can have a play
