Gold nuggets weighing over 18 kilograms are not uncommn - in fact 32 of the 40 heaviesty gold nuggest in Australia twere discovered in Central Victoria. The largest, known as th eWelcome Stranger, was discovered in February 1869 and weighed a whopping 69kg!
