ANXIETY affects one in three people in Australia.

WHAT IS ANXIETY?
Anxiety is an unpleasant state of inner turmoil, often accompanied by nervous behaviour. It is the subjectively unpleasant feeling of dread over anticipated events. Anxiety is not the same as Fear. Fear is a response to a real or percieved immediate threat where as anxiety is the expectation of future threat. Anxiety triggers the feeling fear (in this context FEAR = A False Expectation appearing real) which results in overthinking, worry, uneasiness, over-reaction to a situation or an event and can contribute to muscle tension, restlessness, fatigue and pain.

Often when you suffer from anxiety you can withdraw from situations which have provoked anxiety in the past. This can leave you feeling isolated and alone. There is a way forward, a way forward to free from anxiety and feelings of fear.

You will learn about the importance of emotional wellbeing to maintain inner peace and techniques to easily calm your busy mind. Mindfulness and Meditation techniques that can be practiced every day.
