A three day skillshare for nonviolent direct action and grassroots campaigning at Jarrahdale, one hour from Perth.

This training will bring new and experienced campaigners working on a range of issues together for training, skill sharing and networking which will focus on nonviolent direct action, and campaigning skills related to grassroots activism.

Workshops will cover – Introduction to nonviolent direct action, including successful case studies from across Australia and the world, emotional, practical and physical preparation for actions, action planning, police liaison, legal rights, social and traditional media, climbing, sustainable activism and a range of other things.

We aim for the training to be culturally inclusive, interactive, draw on the experience of diverse participants and a safe and welcoming atmosphere. Open space sessions will be available for people to share skills and suggest workshops.
