Description

Further your skills in implementing the NYSF

It's now been 3 years since MYAN Australia released the National Youth Settlement Framework (NYSF) - Australia's first national framework to support and benchmark good practice in youth settlement. Since its release in 2016, close to 100 people have participated in NYSF training workshops across NSW.

MYAN NSW is offering FREE follow up training to continue supporting you in the implementation of the NYSF.

The follow up session will involve a brief NYSF refresher and a detailed look at using the Active Citizenship and Good Practice Capabilities assessment guides.

This will be an opportunity to reflect on what has changed in your practice since your participation in the initial NYSF training or since adopting the NYSF.

Who is this for?

This training is for people who have previously attended NYSF training or who have a good understanding of the NYSF and its implication for practice with young people in the settlement context.

Bring your
colleagues

We encourage you to attend with one to two people from your organisations to maximise your opportunity to further explore practical strategies in using the NYSF when working with young people in the settlement context.

Got questions?

If you have any queries about the session, please contact Vanesa Chavez, MYAN NSW Sector Development & Policy Manager. The MYAN NSW Team
