A special Summer School class presented by guest tutor Roslyn Kean.
This class is a unique opportunity to gain a practical understanding of the methods involved in traditional Japanese Woodblock printing.
In this intensive course three-day course participants will produce their own prints using this beautiful method, including 'Bokashi'.
Using water-based pigments, special inking brushes and printing by hand on beautiful Japanese paper with a traditional ‘baren’, participants will learn methods to create their own contemporary prints without the use of presses, rollers or solvents.
